Owl gift bag
Well, I decided I would give this blog thing a shot! Here is a cute little owl gift bag I made for my scrappy friends for a retreat we attended last weekend. The little bags were from the dollar store (3/$1), and I simply cut the owls 2 1/2" using my Fall/ Back to School card and then I cut a 1" circle for his belly. I added a little glitter on his nose, 2 big wiggle eyes, and used pop dots to attach him to my bags. In the little bags I put Chap Stick and mini hand lotion, essentials when away at retreat!

Freezer paper
Have you tried cutting shapes with freezer paper and using the negative space to paint on tshirts? I finally found Reynolds freezer paper at a grocery store today and tested it out. It works beautifully. To be honest, I tested with my Cricut first, but the Slice will be perfect because you can cut the paper as large as you like and then cut your designs wherever you like.
I will be testing this tonight and posting the results later.

Slice videos in the sidebar
Check out the Slice videos from YouTube in the sidebar.
This gadget seems a bit tempermental. If it isn't displaying Slice videos, just refresh the page.
Enjoy!

November 2009 challenge - Soup can
I should have announced this to the list, but I'm a bit late. We are in November now and the challenge for November is to decorate a soup can and include things you have cut with your Slice. Let's get really dimensional -- use embossing folders, UTEE, dimensional paint or anything else you can think of.
When you have created something, please post on this blog with a picture of your work of art.

Welcome to the Slice users blog
I created this blog to give Slice users a better way to show the amazing things we have created with our Slice machines. Yahoo list photos are cool, but blogs are even better because we add details and people can comment.

Invitations have already been sent to Tamaya and Deb, our co-moderators.
Hope to read from many of you soon!
